Speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York, Baka emphasized the necessity for the UN to remain an effective body that treats all member states fairly and consistently enforces common principles.
In his address, President Baka specifically condemned Russia’s actions in Ukraine, labeling the war as a violation of the UN Charter. He reaffirmed Hungary’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
